The day of the Ring of Kerry tour was just...amazing. The forecast had predicted that it would rain all day, but we woke up to one of the first and only truly sunny days we saw in Ireland. I took the advice of a friend and signed up for a bus tour, rather than trying to drive the Ring ourselves and I am SO glad I listened! We took our time, stopped at some truly breathtaking views, and gave the bus driver a round of applause at the end for getting a huge bus through the twisty, narrow roads. The tour started in Killarney. We were offered Irish coffee at 11am in Kerry Bog, saw Dingle Bay, drove through Killorglin (home of the Puck Festival), saw the Skellig Islands, ate lunch and flew the drone in Waterville, explored Sneem and got a tin whistle, and ended by passing through Killarney National Park, stopping at beautiful Ladies' View and Torc Waterfall. It was a day I hope I remember vividly for a long time.
