I think I first learned of Adam Schatz years ago when I saw his band Landlady. If you haven't heard them, check them out. You will wake up with their songs in your head. Since that time, Adam has become a friend. Last night, I got to see him perform solo and I was blown away. He is such a captivating performer. He humorously interacts with the audience while making his way all over the stage (in this case, an altar), using the whole space. He is such a great piano player, saxophone player, vocalist, AND song writer. It was truly a treat.
